Behind Trauma Clean Pros is a crew of licensed, insured technicians who've spent years handling the calls other cleaning companies turn away. Every Santa Barbara job is logged, photographed, and disposed of according to state and federal biohazard waste regulations, so property owners and families never have to wonder if it was done right.
We know that most of our clients are calling us on one of the worst days they've had, which is why our dispatchers answer the phone directly instead of routing you through a call center. A real technician talks you through what to expect before a truck ever leaves the yard.
Biohazard work in Santa Barbara, CA also means navigating landlord notifications, insurance documentation, and sometimes law enforcement release forms. We handle that paperwork alongside the physical cleanup so you aren't managing two jobs at once.
Once blood or bodily fluid has been sitting for more than a few hours, the biohazard risk extends well past what's visible. Pathogens travel into grout lines, baseboards, and porous flooring, and consumer-grade disinfectants aren't rated to handle that level of contamination. In Santa Barbara, we're most often called out for the following situations:
When a passing goes undiscovered for an extended period, decomposition byproducts soak into materials far beyond what's visible to the eye.
Law enforcement clears the scene for investigation, but the physical cleanup — including evidence of forced entry damage — is left to a licensed remediation crew.
Years of accumulated clutter often conceal mold, pest infestations, and biohazard material that needs specialized sorting and disposal.
A sewage backup introduces blackwater contamination that turns carpet, drywall, and insulation into a health hazard until it's properly removed.
Homes and facilities exposed to certain communicable diseases require EPA-registered disinfectants and a documented decontamination protocol.
Facility managers call us after incidents where bodily fluids or hazardous residue require remediation beyond standard maintenance staff.
Every Biohazard job is different, which is why we scope each one individually before a crew ever steps inside. Below are the services Santa Barbara clients call us for most.
We remove blood, tissue, and other biological material from floors, walls, and furniture, using enzymatic cleaners and EPA-registered disinfectants rated for bloodborne pathogen decontamination.
Decomposition cleanup includes removal of affected flooring and subfloor, odor neutralization with ozone or hydroxyl treatment, and full sanitization of the space.
We work through hoarded properties methodically, separating salvageable items from biohazard waste and flagging mold or structural issues along the way.
We extract blackwater, remove porous materials that can't be salvaged, and disinfect the affected structure to prevent bacterial and mold growth.
We follow a documented protocol using EPA List N disinfectants for any property with confirmed infectious disease exposure.
Warehouses, medical facilities, and job sites call us for biohazard incidents that require regulated waste handling and disposal documentation.
When you call +1-844-401-0166, we ask a few direct questions about the situation so we can prepare the correct equipment before the truck leaves.
Our Santa Barbara dispatch radius is built for speed — a crew is typically on-site within the hour of your call.
The crew isolates the work area, removes anything that can't be salvaged, and disinfects the space using EPA-registered products.
All regulated waste is transported and disposed of per state biohazard guidelines, and you receive documentation for insurance or legal purposes.
Every technician holds current bloodborne pathogen certification, and every job is covered by liability insurance from the first phone call.
We don't route calls through a national hub — Santa Barbara dispatch pulls from a local crew stationed nearby.
You receive a written scope and price before work begins, with no surprise line items added once the job is underway.
Ozone generators, hydroxyl machines, enzymatic cleaners, and PPE rated for bloodborne pathogens travel with every crew.
We guarantee every job passes a final inspection before we consider it complete, and if a disinfected area fails a follow-up odor or contamination check, we return at no additional cost to correct it. We hold this same standard across every property size we service in Santa Barbara, CA.
Our promise also covers communication: you get a direct line to the technician on your job, not a general call center queue, from the first quote through final walkthrough.
